About me

Hello! My name is Trevor McLaurine. I am currently a student at Bellevue University in Bellevue, Nebraska for my degree in Web Development. I am also a freelance Web Developer looking to help small businesses create the web experience they need for their customers.

When I'm not studying in school or coding, I enjoy relaxing with loved ones, biking, cooking, or playing a good video game or board game.

Chillona

My first react project that I created using a database! My girlfriend is a native Spanish speaker and wants to learn English. With that in mind, I wanted to make a website where I could add vocabulary, articles and quizzes to help her learn.

A fun Frontend Mentor Project that intrigued me. I started learning coding by making games in Unity. Jumping back into that, but with Javascript, was a great learning experience and allowed me to practice animations as well as hone my CSS skills.

Bellevue Pet Adventures

I had the pleasure of redesigning the website for a local pet store named Bellevue Pet Adventures. Their website had not been updated for some time, so I was given the task of bringing it a more modern look, making it mobile friendly, and making sure that it would still be accessible for their customers. It was a delight to be able to make that happen for them and a great learning experience as well.
